The year 2020 was trying for many. Driven by the desire to support and love each other through difficult times, we were compelled to use the gifts of poetry and song to bring comfort in a time of much pain. The Rise Project honors the legacy of our ancestors using the Arts to share our story of resilience. Working on this project in the midst of a pandemic, gave us hope, inspired us, made us smile and encouraged us to hold our heads high and rise. We hope that it does the same for you.
